We are Sara-Jo Gahm and John Connolly.
We started On The Lamb Farm in 1998, when Sara-Jo became addicted to
herding training and trialing. We moved to our current location in Arlington,
Washington, in 2002. We hold herding trials, clinics, and lessons at our farm.
We raise grass fed lamb and beef, and farm fresh eggs.
We breed and
sell registered Katahdin hair sheep.
Sara-Jo was the Northwest Director of the Australian Cattle Dog Club of
America from 2001-2003, and then served as president from 2003-2005. She has held board positions in the Cascade Australian Cattle Dog Club, and the All Breed Herding Club of Western Washington. Sara-Jo trains and trials her own dogs, and teaches herding to a limited number of students.
John performs most of the day to day work around the farm and constantly juggles projects to improve the facilities. The farm received recognition as a Snohomish Conservation District Merit Farm for 2005.
